- Blackboard is not accessible until the first day of class for the current semester.

- If so, you must go here. Your username will be your Campus Wide ID number and your password is provided by BPCC. If you do not know your BPCC Blackboard password, please call BPCC at 318.357.5362.

- If you are using Office 2007, please save all documents in the Office 97-2003 format.

- Blackboard is not compatible with any special characters used in filenames. If you have saved your files with #, “, ‘, * or any other symbols, your files will not be viewable after they are posted to Digital Dropbox. Please rename your file and resubmit.

- Blackboard is not compatible with filenames that exceed 15 characters including spaces. Please rename your file and resubmit.

- If you have access to another email account, please email your name, Campus Wide ID, myNSU username and the exact error message that you are receiving to sos@student.nsula.edu. If you do not have access to another email account, please call the Student Help Desk at 318.357.6696.

- If you have over 500 emails in a folder, the system will usually not be able to remove all messages at one time. If the folder cannot be emptied with one operation, you will usually receive an error message. This just means that the system could not clear out all of the emails at one time. Click your Deleted Items folder and empty it; then, return to the folder you are trying to clear and try to empty it again. If you have many thousands of emails, you may have to do this several times until the folder empties completely.

- It takes a minimum of 24 hours for class registration information to transfer to myNSU. During that time, you will receive an Incorrect Login message when you try to create a myNSU account.

- An incorrect Date of Birth will also cause you to receive the Incorrect Login message when you try to create a myNSU account. Please contact the Registrar's Office at 318.357.6171 to confirm that your Date of Birth has been entered correctly into NSU's
system.

- Please go to myNSU and click the Forgot Password? link. Correctly answer the security questions you have setup and the system will reset your password to your 6-digit date of birth. If you have not yet setup your security questions, please contact the Student Help Desk at 318.357.6696. The Help Desk will reset your password to your 6-digit date of birth and walk you through changing your password and setting up your security questions.
- Please contact the Registrar’s Office at 318.357.6171 and request your Student Services pin be reset. The Student Help Desk cannot reset this pin number.
- Please go to myNSU and click Login to myNSU at the top of the page. Login and scroll to the bottom of your information for a list of classes and grades.
- Please go to the Registrar website and click the Academic Calendars link in the right menu. You may then select the calendar for the current semester.
- Please go to the Registrar website and click Course Catalogs in the right menu. You may then choose the correct academic catalog year for your degree program.
- Please click Other Links in the menu on the right side of this website. The Telephone Directory is listed on that menu.
- Please call the Registrar’s Office at 318.357.6171 or go to the Registrar website and click Student Information on the right side menu. Click on How to Request a Transcript on that menu.
- Please go to Student Services and login. Mouse over Student Records and click the Unofficial Transcript link.
- Download Compatible Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version for Blackboard.
